How to use a clay mask

Clay asks for calm and attention. Mix, apply, wait — and rinse when the mask starts to feel dry.

Prepare your skin

Cleanse your face gently and pat dry. On clean skin the clay works more evenly.

Mix the clay

Put 1–2 teaspoons of clay powder in a ceramic bowl. Add lukewarm water bit by bit until you have a smooth, creamy paste.

Apply

Spread a thin layer over face and neck with a brush or clean fingers. Leave the eye area and lips free.

Let it work

Let it work

Leave for 8–12 minutes. When the mask turns matte or starts to tighten, it is time to rinse — do not let it dry hard.

Rinse and nourish

Rinse and nourish

Rinse with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Pat dry and finish with a hydrating cream or face oil.
